Luxury Goods Thieves Apprehended
In a significant development, the Beverly Hills Police Department has apprehended two suspects responsible for a series of armed robberies across Southern California. The suspects have been identified as Justice Bloodworth, a 21-year-old resident of Los Angeles, and Cameron Woods-Harvey, a 23-year-old resident of Long Beach.
The armed robberies, which occurred between July and October 2023, targeted residents in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. The suspects specifically focused on victims wearing luxury watches and jewelry, according to the police.
The duo is wanted for at least six robberies throughout Los Angeles County, and they are also connected to a home invasion robbery in Brea. The Beverly Hills Police Department, in collaboration with various agencies including the Santa Monica Police Department, L.A. County Sheriff’s Department West Hollywood Division, L.A. Police Department Robbery-Homicide Division, LA IMPACT, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, worked tirelessly to track down the suspects.
The joint investigation led to the execution of several search warrants in locations across Southern California and Flagstaff, Arizona. As a result, two of the victims’ stolen properties were recovered, which provided crucial leads for the ongoing investigation. The recovered evidence included six guns, including assault weapons, stolen luxury watches, fine jewelry, and other valuable items.
On October 12, Bloodworth was arrested and charged with four counts of robbery, one count of conspiracy, and one count of felony reckless evading. It was discovered that he had been released on bail for several other armed robberies when he was arrested again. He is currently being held without bail.
Woods-Harvey was arrested on October 27 in Arizona. He faces three counts of conspiracy and two counts of weapons-related charges. Currently, he awaits extradition back to Los Angeles County and is being held in the Coconino County Jail on $235,000 bail.
