Large Tree Falls in Santa Rosa Park Injuring Six

A large tree fell and injured six people at a park in Santa Rosa, reports the Santa Rosa Fire Department. The incident occurred at Spring Lake Park around 10:46 a.m., leading to the dispatch of fire crews, including one fire engine, one rescue team, one Battalion Chief and five ambulances.

According to the Santa Rosa Fire Department, one person sustained major injuries from the incident, while another experienced moderate injuries. Four others were treated for minor injuries on the scene.

The video footage from the scene reveals a picnic-style campground with several tables positioned amongst large trees. The toppled tree can be seen in the background, its area cordoned off with police safety tape.
