A man in San Bernardino County sustained life-threatening injuries after being attacked on Tuesday and had to be rushed to a hospital.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Colorado River Station responded to reports of a man sitting on a curb, bleeding heavily, around 11:15 a.m. Upon reaching the scene, deputies found the man with severe lacerations to his face, hands, and arms.
Medical personnel provided initial treatment at the scene before the victim was airlifted to a hospital. The circumstances leading to the attack are unclear, and the type of weapon used in the assault has not been identified. The suspect had fled the scene before deputies arrived.
