Hit-and-Run Driver Allegedly Brandishes Gun in South Los Angeles

Police are investigating an incident involving a hit-and-run driver who allegedly brandished a gun in the Green Meadows neighborhood of Los Angeles early Monday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 1:40 a.m. near the intersection of Century Boulevard and Clovis Avenue. However, upon investigation, it was determined that an apparent collision had taken place between a Toyota Camry and a big rig, after which the Camry fled the scene.

The driver of the big rig reported to police that a brief dispute had occurred between them, during which a handgun was displayed. According to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department, no shooting seems to have occurred and no injuries were reported.

The investigation into this incident continues as police seek to locate the hit-and-run driver.
