Multiple vehicles took over a parking lot in Diamond Bar on Sunday night, leading to potential arrests.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies and California Highway Patrol officers responded to a street racing call in the 900 block of Diamond Bar Boulevard around 10 p.m.
Upon arrival, a large crowd was discovered in the parking lot of the Oak Tree shopping center. Vehicles were seen taking turns performing doughnuts and other stunts.
By 10:30 p.m., authorities had successfully dispersed the crowd without incident. Video footage appeared to show one driver being arrested as vehicles were leaving the scene, although this could not be confirmed by the California Highway Patrol.
There have been no reported injuries resulting from this incident.
