Biohazard sign, mouse in lab

Bizarre Medical Lab Uncovered Near Fresno

In an astonishing discovery near Fresno, a warehouse was found to be harboring a vast illegal medical lab. Alongside bioengineered mice and infectious agents, the site contained nearly 30 refrigerators and freezers, some non-operational, and various incubators. The finding has left officials in shock and raised public concerns.

The investigation, involving local, state, and federal agencies, was initiated by a simple garden hose illegally attached and protruding from a wall at the back of the building. Reedley City Manager Nicole Zieba called the situation “unusual,” admitting she had never seen anything like it in her 25-year career in government.

Inside the ordinary-looking warehouse, the authorities found over 800 different chemicals and a special room housing about 1,000 white lab mice. The suspects claimed they were conducting tests on the mice to support the development of COVID-19 test kits. However, nearly 1,000 lab mice were discovered, 200 of which were already dead.

Authorities also found thousands of vials containing biohazardous materials, including human blood and other unknown substances. According to court documents, the Centers for Disease Control tested available samples and identified at least 20 potentially infectious viral, bacterial, and parasitic agents, including E. Coli, malaria, and even COVID.

While an ongoing investigation is underway, officials have reassured the public that the biohazardous materials have been contained and correctly disposed of. The case is a stark reminder of the importance of vigilance and robust investigations in protecting public health and maintaining scientific integrity.
