Second Suspect in Sunnyvale Shooting Captured at SFO

A second individual was arrested on Wednesday in connection to a shooting in Sunnyvale that left a man injured, as confirmed by the Sunnyvale Police Department.

The shooting took place early Sunday morning in the 300 block of East Washington Avenue, leading to a man suffering multiple gunshot wounds. The injured man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The first suspect, identified as Gregory Law, was arrested following a brief foot chase. Police report that during the pursuit, Law discarded a handgun that was later recovered.

Through their investigation, law enforcement authorities identified Filmon Kifle as a second suspect in the shooting. Kifle was apprehended on Wednesday at San Francisco International Airport as he was attempting to board a flight to Turkey.

Both suspects have been arrested and are currently being held in the Santa Clara County Jail. The investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.
