Three men tragically lost their lives in an early Friday morning wrong-way collision in Palmdale. According to a news release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a 2017 Kia Sorento driven by a 41-year-old man from Long Beach was traveling east on Pearblossom Highway when it veered into the westbound lanes, hitting a westbound 2023 Toyota Tacoma.
The crash, which occurred around 3:30 a.m. west of Valley Springs Road, resulted in the deaths of the Kia driver, a 60-year-old Victorville man who was a passenger in the Kia, and the 37-year-old Littlerock man who was driving the pickup. All three men were pronounced dead at the scene.
The horrific accident led to the closure of Pearblossom Highway between 25th and 37th streets until shortly before 11 a.m.
