Caltrain Collision Results in Fatality in San Francisco

A tragic incident unfolded on Friday night when a person was struck and killed by a Caltrain in San Francisco, marking the seventh Caltrain fatality this year.

The collision occurred around 7:30 p.m. at Tunnel 4, located between San Francisco’s 22nd Street and Bayshore Station. Reports confirm that there were no injuries among those aboard the train at the time.

In response to the incident, MUNI arranged for passengers to be shuttled from Fourth and King Streets to Bayshore Station. The tracks were subsequently cleared around 10:30 p.m.
