A 2-year-old child is in critical condition following a suspected DUI crash on the 5 Freeway in Sylmar. The driver responsible for the crash has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The accident occurred just before 1 a.m. on the northbound side of the 5 Freeway near the 14 Freeway interchange. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved two vehicles, with a possible ejection reported.
