Funeral Service for San Jose Boy

Funeral Service for 6-Year-Old Stabbed in San Jose

A funeral service is being organized for a six-year-old boy, Jordan Cam Walker, who was tragically stabbed to death in a San Jose home. Jordan and his great-grandmother were brutally killed on August 4 within an apartment in the Buena Vista neighborhood.

The boy’s family shared a heartfelt message, remembering Jordan as a beloved child who loved the outdoors, swimming, baseball, and basketball. A candlelight vigil is planned for Wednesday evening to celebrate and remember Jordan’s life.

The funeral service is scheduled to commence at 11 a.m. on August 18 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, located at 467 N. White Road in San Jose. Organizers stated, “Following the funeral, there will be a repast where attendees can gather to share stories and support each other during this difficult time.” They also invited those who are unable to attend the funeral service but wish to express their condolences to consider sending flowers or gifts to the Emmanuel Baptist Church on the day of the service.

A GoFundMe page set up for the boy has so far raised $11,000. As for the investigation into the double homicide, the San Jose Police Department has been reticent about their progress. The great-grandmother’s name has not been released by law enforcement officials, and it’s unclear whether police have made any arrests related to the devastating incident.
