A serious traffic collision in Vermont Square, Los Angeles, involving two vehicles and a Metro bus, resulted in at least three people being hospitalized.
Authorities were called to the scene of the crash near the 450 block of 51st Street at around 7:05 p.m., as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Three individuals were transported to local hospitals in serious to critical condition. Four other people involved in the crash reportedly declined medical transportation.
There were no passengers on the bus during the time of the incident, according to police. The bus driver escaped the crash uninjured. It remains uncertain in which vehicles the critically injured individuals were seated at the time of the crash.
