A violent robbery occurred in the 1700 block of International Boulevard in Oakland, as reported by the Oakland Police Department. On August 16, just before 6:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the scene, where they found a victim injured from an armed robbery.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment following the incident. The ensuing investigation revealed two armed individuals had approached the victim, pistol-whipped them, and robbed them of their belongings.
In video footage provided by Seneca Scott, the victim can be seen being dragged as they attempted to hold onto an item being taken from them. A passerby confronted the suspects, who subsequently fled the scene in a car.
