Three Arrested in Oakland After Attempted Carjacking and Burglaries

On Tuesday, three people were arrested in Oakland after being surveilled by the Oakland Police Department (OPD). The vehicle in question was linked with an attempted carjacking and various burglaries.

During the surveillance operation, the car became disabled in the area of Duncan Way and Glenwood Glade. Four individuals fled the vehicle on foot, but OPD quickly established a perimeter and succeeded in arresting three of them.

Inside the car, police found three loaded firearms and other items of evidence relevant to their investigation.
