Two lanes on Interstate 80 were closed on Thursday afternoon following a crash, as reported by a 511 alert.
The incident occurred around 5:16 p.m. on the eastbound side of I-80, east of the I-580 MacArthur Maze. The left and center lanes were blocked due to the accident.
The 511 alert confirmed that there were injuries resulting from the crash, although the severity of the injuries remains undisclosed by officials.
There is currently no estimated time for the reopening of the roadway.
