Suspect in Oakland Homicide Surrenders to Police

A man named Juan Sura-Martinez turned himself in to the police in relation to a Sunday morning homicide in Oakland, according to a police announcement on Thursday. The Alameda County District Attorney’s Office has charged Sura-Martinez in the death of Guillermo Kelly-Torres.

Kelly-Torres was discovered with a gunshot wound shortly before 6 a.m. on Sunday in the 9200 block of E Street. Sura-Martinez surrendered to the police later that morning.
