Tragic Collision Claims Two Lives in Adelanto: Seeking Justice and Accountability
In a devastating incident, a violent collision on U.S. Route 395 in Adelanto resulted in the loss of two lives and left another individual hospitalized. According to a report from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred shortly before 8:20 p.m. on Friday night, south of Air Expressway Boulevard.
Emergency responders discovered three vehicles involved in the collision, one of which, a 2004 Chevy Malibu, had caught fire with two occupants inside. With swift action, a deputy was able to rescue the passenger by pulling them through the passenger side window. The passenger was then immediately airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition, receiving vital medical attention.
In a display of courage and unity, several civilians and another deputy worked together to rescue the driver of a 2014 Chevy Malibu from their vehicle. Despite their valiant efforts, both drivers were pronounced deceased at the scene. Thankfully, the driver of the third car, a 2018 Nissan Rogue, escaped the collision without injury.
