A brush fire, known as the Agua Fire, in the Angeles National Forest near Agua Dulce has grown to over 400 acres as of Wednesday morning. The fire was reported around 2:15 p.m. near Soledad Canyon and Agua Dulce Canyon roads, and due to steep terrain and difficult access, it expanded to 421 acres overnight.
According to a social media post by the Angeles National Forest, containment of the fire stands at 10%, with 275 firefighters on the scene. One firefighter was reported injured during the firefight on Tuesday, but their condition remains unknown.
Soledad Canyon Road between Agua Dulce Road and Crown Valley Road is closed on Wednesday, as declared by officials. So far, no evacuations have been ordered.
