Alameda Road Closure Due to Car-Light Pole Collision

Shore Line Drive in Alameda is temporarily closed due to a car crash involving a light pole, as reported by the Alameda Police Department (APD). As of 2:30 p.m., the westbound lanes on Shore Line Drive between Harbor Light Road and Fair Haven Road remain closed.

According to APD, a light pole obstructing the roadway is the cause of the closure. Crews from Alameda Municipal Power are currently assisting police and fire crews in response to the incident.

The APD has not yet provided a timeline for when the roadway will reopen. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported from the crash. Shore Line Drive is located just off the San Francisco Bay side of Alameda.
