Dogs can be great exercise partners. Dog owners often walk more than individuals without dogs, but that doesn’t mean the exercise must stop at walking. If you’re looking to get more active, involving your dog might be the push you need to stick with your new fitness plan. Here are seven activities you and your furry friend can enjoy together.

Before you start, consider your dog’s exercise requirements to ensure you don’t overdo it. For instance, a Chihuahua may not enjoy an hour-long walk, but a Border Collie can easily handle a 10-mile run.
