A man has died following a shooting in Boyle Heights on Thursday morning. The Los Angeles Police Department is currently searching for the attacker.
The shooting was reported just after 10 a.m. in the 500 block of South Lorena Street. According to the police, three to four gunshots were heard emanating from an apartment, followed by a woman’s screams.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found an unconscious man, believed to be around 35 years old, who was not breathing. An ambulance was subsequently requested.
No further information about the victim has been released at this time. There are currently no details regarding potential suspects as the search for the shooter continues.
