Cannabis driver robbery, arrests made

Cannabis Delivery Driver Robbed at Gunpoint, Two Suspects Arrested

In San Bernardino County, a cannabis delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint by two suspects. Deputies were dispatched to the 12000 block of Sand Court in Adelanto around 5 p.m. on a Saturday evening on reports of a robbery.

Upon arrival, deputies found the victim, a man working as a delivery driver for a cannabis retailer, and learned that he had been robbed at gunpoint by two suspects who fled the location in a Ford Taurus. A BOLO notification was sent out to surrounding law enforcement agencies.

Deputies with the Victorville Police Department observed a vehicle matching the description of the suspects’ vehicle and conducted a high-risk traffic stop. They found marijuana in the trunk of the vehicle and money in the center console. The suspects had discarded the weapon, later identified as a BB gun, which was subsequently recovered.

The two occupants of the vehicle, Jakye Randolph, 23, of Adelanto, and Jonathyn Russkizzee, 26, of Victorville, were identified as the suspects and arrested for conspiracy and robbery. They were booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
