On Saturday evening, a car veered off a dead end and fell over the Sanchez Street Stairs in San Francisco, as confirmed by the San Francisco Fire Department.
The incident occurred around 7:18 p.m. when a driver reportedly veered off the dead end at Cumberland Street, landing at 19th and Sanchez streets. Officers from the San Francisco Police Department and the San Francisco Fire Department were dispatched to the scene.
SFFD Truck 7 crews confirmed that there were no injuries as a result of the crash. However, upon their arrival, all occupants of the vehicle had fled the scene.
A photo from the scene shows the car upside down. A tow truck was summoned to remove the vehicle.
