A verbal dispute between three women inside a vehicle resulted in a deadly stabbing in Hollywood early Monday morning. According to a spokesperson from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. in the 7200 block of West Sunset Boulevard.
Initial reports suggest that during the dispute, a 23-year-old woman stabbed both of the other women in the vehicle. The victims, a 43-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman, were both rushed to a local hospital. Unfortunately, the 43-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries and was declared dead.
The condition of the 24-year-old victim has not been disclosed yet.
The suspect in the incident has been taken into custody, and no other suspects are believed to be involved. LAPD’s homicide detectives are now handling the investigation into this tragic incident.
