Deer Causes Chaos at SoCal Sam’s Club
Shoppers at a local Sam’s Club in Southern California were in for a surprise when a four-legged customer made its way into the store without a membership card. Video footage from the Corona Police Department captured the moment when a deer entered the Sam’s Club on Ontario Avenue through the front door.
Initially slipping on the smooth floor, the young buck quickly regained its balance and started dashing down the TV aisle, passing by a bewildered shopper. In hot pursuit was a Corona Police Department officer, sprinting at full speed to catch up to the deer. Eventually, the officer was able to catch and “console” the deer until Corona Animal Control officers arrived.
According to the Corona Police Department, they received multiple calls about a runaway deer in south Corona. The deer had been running through yards, jumping over walls, and even taking a dip in a backyard pool before finding its way into Sam’s Club.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported to either humans or the deer. The animal control officers safely released the deer back into the wild.
As personal injury bloggers, it’s important to recognize the unusual incidents that occur in our communities. While this particular incident may seem humorous, it serves as a reminder of the unpredictability of wildlife and the need for caution in unexpected situations. We hope that both humans and animals remain safe as we navigate encounters with wildlife in our daily lives.
