DUI Driver Arrested Following Fiery Napa Valley Crash

In Napa Valley, a driver suspected of being under the influence caused a fiery crash, according to the Calistoga Police Department. The incident occurred at 12:30 a.m. Thursday on Foothill Boulevard near Kortum Canyon Road, when the driver’s vehicle caught fire due to the impact of the crash.

Emergency crews arriving at the scene found the vehicle completely engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to control the blaze before it spread to a nearby house.

Despite the intense fire, the driver emerged uninjured from the incident. Police officers subsequently arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence. This alarming incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of impaired driving, emphasizing the need for stringent enforcement of DUI laws to ensure road safety.
