‘Euphoria’ Actor Angus Cloud’s Death not a Suicide, Says Mother

Lisa Cloud, the mother of Angus Cloud, the co-star of “Euphoria,” who recently passed away in his Oakland home, has cleared the air regarding her son’s death. Contrary to some social media posts, she confirmed that his death was not a suicide.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Lisa described the time since Angus’s passing as “shattered” for their family, but expressed gratitude for the love they had received.

She described Angus’s last day as a joyful one, spent reorganizing his home and expressing his wishes to care for his sisters. Lisa emphasized that, despite his deep grief over his father’s untimely death from mesothelioma, Angus had no intention of ending his life.

The circumstances surrounding his death seem to suggest that Angus had simply fallen asleep at his desk, which was covered in ongoing art projects, and tragically never woke up.

While she acknowledged the possibility that Angus might have accidentally overdosed, she stressed the importance of understanding his death was not intentional.

Lisa also highlighted Angus’s resilience, including his recovery from a head injury that could have ended his life a decade ago. She referred to the last ten years as “bonus years,” filled with creativity and love, and requested that those wishing to honor Angus’s memory incorporate random acts of kindness into their daily lives.

The news of Angus’s death has been met with an outpouring of grief from Oakland and the wider entertainment industry, including a touching tribute from “Euphoria” lead actor Zendaya.
