Family Seeks Support After Man Killed in Fast Food Drive-thru Shooting

The family of Jeffrey Manuel Farinha, who was tragically shot and killed in a Jack in the Box drive-thru in Santa Rosa, is seeking community support as they plan his funeral and navigate the aftermath of the event. Farinha, a 40-year-old resident of Rohnert Park, was found unresponsive on the ground by the Santa Rosa Police Department upon their arrival at the scene.

A GoFundMe page created for Farinha’s family has so far raised nearly $7,000. Jessica Farinha, the victim’s sister, penned a heartfelt tribute to her brother on the fundraising page, highlighting his selfless nature, infectious smile, warm hugs, and kind heart.

The investigation into the incident revealed that Farinha was engaged in some form of altercation with two suspects in the drive-thru when one of them pulled out a handgun and shot him multiple times. The suspects, described as Hispanic males aged 18-20 with skinny builds and wearing ski masks, are currently being sought by police.

As personal injury bloggers, we extend our deepest condolences to Farinha’s family and friends in this challenging time. This tragic event highlights the ongoing issue of gun violence and the devastating impact it has on families and communities. It also underscores the need for thorough investigation and justice in such cases.
