A violent two-vehicle collision in Van Nuys has resulted in one fatality and four injuries.
The incident occurred around 3:18 a.m. on Saticoy Street near Oso Street. According to authorities, the two vehicles, carrying a total of five passengers, crashed into each other. First responders had to cut open the vehicles to rescue the occupants.
One of the victims, a 21-year-old female, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other four victims, an 11-year-old girl, a 30-year-old woman and two 21-year-old men, were transported to a hospital. Their conditions remain unknown at this time.
