In a tragic incident, a man was fatally struck by a car in the early hours of Saturday morning on the 73 Freeway in Orange County.
Authorities were alerted to the accident around 1 a.m., with reports of a body in the #2 lane near John Wayne Airport. Upon arrival, Newport Beach paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
