Five people were taken to the hospital following a shooting in Pasadena on Friday night.
Pasadena Police responded to reports of gunfire heard on the 100 block of E. Orange Grove Boulevard around 7:33 p.m.
Upon arrival, the officers found five injured victims at the scene.
Four of the victims were transported to a local hospital with injuries the severity of which is unknown at this time. The fifth victim transported themselves to the hospital, according to the police.
Authorities believe that the shooting may have been instigated by some sort of altercation. No information about the suspect was released and no arrests have been made so far.
Details remain scarce and the events that precipitated the shooting are still unclear. Police are currently investigating the scene.
