A man was found shot to death in a riverbed next to a park in Montebello on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The man, whose name and age have not yet been released, was discovered in the Rio Hondo riverbed behind Grand Rea Park, located at 600 Rea Drive, around 5:15 p.m.
The man was reportedly suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
As of now, no information about the shooter or shooters has been released. The investigation into this tragic incident is still ongoing.
