Martinez Strip Mall Damaged in Overnight Fire

An overnight fire on Saturday caused significant damage to a strip mall in Martinez, California. The blaze was confirmed by the Contra Costa Fire Protection District (CCFPD), and it started around 4:45 a.m. near 1175 Arnold Drive.

Several businesses in the vicinity were affected by the fire, with crews responding to the blaze outside of Baskin-Robbins and Bank of America. Officials identified the incident as a small accidental electrical fire that originated from inside.

Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control within approximately 20 minutes, and thankfully, no injuries were reported. However, the extent of the damage to the businesses in the area is still unknown.
