Emergency crews responded to a collision between a Metrolink train and a vehicle in Glendale on Saturday night.
The Los Angeles Fire Department received reports of the collision around 5:44 p.m., near the 5400 block of West San Fernando Road.
Upon arrival, crews found that the Metrolink passenger train and a vehicle had collided near the intersection of San Fernando Road and Doran Street. The location is on the city borders of Los Angeles and Glendale.
The train had performed an emergency stop on the tracks before striking the vehicle, according to authorities.
There were approximately 95 passengers, an engineer, and a conductor on board the four-car passenger train at the time of the impact.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle appeared uninjured and was found walking nearby when crews arrived. No injuries were reported among the Metrolink passengers.
Video footage from the scene showed a significant presence of fire crews. Passengers waited inside the train for further instructions.
The cause of the collision remains unclear as investigations continue.
The train was en route to Lancaster. No announcements have been made regarding transit delays as a result of the crash.
