Multiple People Shot in Oakland, Two Arrested

Multiple people were shot in Oakland on Friday, and two individuals were apprehended in relation to the incident, according to the Oakland Police Department (OPD).

The OPD responded to a shooting that occurred just after 5:30 p.m. on the 6200 block of International Boulevard. One victim was found at the scene and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Subsequent to this, more victims arrived at local hospitals. An investigation revealed that all these victims sustained their injuries from the shooting incident that took place on International Boulevard.

Every one of the victims is in a stable condition, as per the police. The OPD did not provide specific numbers as to how many victims there were.

Two people believed to be involved in the shootings were arrested by officers as they attempted to flee the scene using public transportation, says a statement by the police.
