In a tragic incident on Friday, a woman and a boy were found fatally stabbed at a residence in San Jose. This grim discovery is now under investigation as a homicide case by the San Jose Police Department. Officers had arrived at the scene around 10:06 a.m. to perform a welfare check in the 1600 block of Parkmore Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found both individuals suffering from at least one stab wound each. Despite the presence of medics, both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The identities of the victims are yet to be released and will be confirmed by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after notifying the next of kin.
This unfortunate event marks the 23rd and 24th homicides in San Jose in 2023. As of now, the motives and circumstances surrounding the stabbings remain unclear and under investigation.
