The incident occurred on November 17th, at around 4:47 p.m., in the 4100 block of Walnut Ave. Upon receiving the report, police officers immediately rushed to the scene. When the officers arrived, they found two male victims who had sustained stab wounds. Without hesitation, the officers provided medical aid to both victims before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment. One of the victims, a 23-year-old male, is currently in stable condition, while the other victim, a 30-year-old male, is in critical condition. Thanks to surveillance footage and multiple witnesses, the suspect was identified as 28-year-old Fremont resident, Miguel Angel Villareal. Officers conducted an intensive search of the area to locate Villareal, and with the help of Crimes Against Person(s) detectives from the Fremont Police Department, he was apprehended after several hours. Villareal has been arrested for two counts of attempted murder and is scheduled to be arraigned on November 22nd. It is worth noting that Villareal has a criminal history, including previous arrests for robbery, battery on a person inflicting serious bodily injury, resisting an officer, and drug-related offenses.
