Surfer Injured in Possible Shark Encounter in Pacifica
In a frightening incident at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica, a surfer was reportedly attacked by a shark. The Pacifica Police Department responded to the scene after receiving a report of the incident. The 52-year-old surfer informed officers that something had bitten his lower leg while he was in the water. However, he was unable to confirm if it was indeed a shark, as he did not see what caused his injuries.
Thankfully, the surfer managed to make his way out of the water and called for medical assistance. Pacifica police, along with the North County Fire Authority and AMR, quickly arrived at the scene. The injured surfer was then transported to a hospital for treatment. Fortunately, his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
