A 14-year-old boy was arrested after allegedly stabbing another teenager in Chino Hills last week, authorities announced on Monday.
The incident took place around 4 p.m. on August 11 at a Wendy’s restaurant in the 15000 block of Pomona Rincon Road, as reported by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies were called to the scene following an altercation involving students from Chino Hills High School. During this altercation, it is alleged that the 14-year-old suspect stabbed another juvenile with a knife. The victim was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Upon arrival, deputies investigated the incident and located the suspect close to the scene. The boy was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and subsequently booked into the San Bernardino Juvenile Detention Center.
