Teen Injured in Shooting at High School Football Game in Rancho Cucamonga

A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized after being shot during a high school football game at Etiwanda High School in Rancho Cucamonga, as reported by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

The incident happened on Friday night, around 8:23 p.m., when deputies responded to reports of a large group of juveniles engaged in a street fight in front of the school. During the altercation, an unidentified individual fired gunshots, causing the group of juveniles to scatter and flee the scene.

Deputies arrived to find the injured teenager with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect involved in the shooting managed to evade capture and is currently at large. The authorities are actively seeking the public’s help to locate the individual.
