Terrifying Crash in Santa Clarita as SUV Plows into Group of People
A shocking incident unfolded outside a popular restaurant in Santa Clarita, captured on video, showing the moment when an SUV drove into a group of people. The crash occurred in front of the Black and Blue Restaurant in the Valencia Town Center around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday morning.
According to witnesses, the driver of the white SUV, believed to be a Honda CR-V, was seen doing donuts before veering into the crowd. One witness, identified as Eric, recounted the events, stating that the driver attempted a turn that was unsuccessful, followed by another turn that resulted in the devastating impact.
The collision not only struck several individuals but also caused minor damage to the restaurant’s patio wall. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, and footage shows firefighters treating some of the victims who suffered minor injuries. At this time, it is unclear whether anyone required hospitalization.
Following the crash, the suspect fled the scene. However, police were able to locate and apprehend two women believed to be involved in the incident on Magic Mountain Parkway near Valencia Boulevard. The women were subjected to sobriety tests and subsequently arrested by law enforcement.
