A fight at Club San Luis in an unestablished area of Menlo Park led to the arrest of two suspects early Sunday morning, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
The police were alerted to the bar fight around 2:40 a.m. Witnesses reported that two individuals were ejected from the bar, only to return with a rifle. They then allegedly began threatening the crowd outside the bar. The suspects fled the scene, but not before witnesses were able to provide a vehicle description and license plate number.
Deputies located the suspect’s vehicle nearby and conducted a traffic stop, during which they discovered a BB gun rifle. The two suspects, identified as Liandro Morean Jazo, 32, and Jorge Moreno Torres, 34, both of Redwood City, were arrested.
Both suspects were booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility, each held on $50,000 bail. The investigation is ongoing, and the sheriff’s office is urging anyone with information to come forward. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling the sheriff’s office at 1-800-547-2700.
