Last month, a fatal shooting occurred in San Francisco’s Lower Haight neighborhood, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old man. The shooting was reported at 9:16 p.m. in the 400 block of Rose Street. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the young man, who was immediately transported to a hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
The victim’s identity has not been released to the public at this time. However, investigators were able to identify two suspects, 35-year-old Kameron Kaywood and 25-year-old Delvon Carter, and promptly secured arrest warrants for them.
On June 28th, officers learned that Kaywood was already in custody in Contra Costa County on unrelated charges. Therefore, a warrant detainer was placed on him for the homicide. Carter was located and arrested without any incidents in South San Francisco on a Wednesday, as per the police reports.
San Francisco police are urging anyone with additional information about the case to get in touch through their 24-hour tip line or send a text message tip to TIP411, beginning the message with “SFPD”.
