In the early hours of Sunday morning, a driver required rescue after their car almost plunged off the 605 Freeway.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol responded to the incident in Irwindale around 2 a.m., following reports of a black sedan involved in an accident north of Arrow Highway. The crash resulted in the vehicle’s rear end hanging over the edge of the freeway, overturned on its roof.
Firefighters quickly arrived on the scene and secured the car with a tow line before assisting the driver back to safety.
