Motorcyclist Shot Dead on Lancaster Freeway Off-Ramp, Two Arrested

A motorcyclist, later identified as Henry Gonzalez, 37, was shot and killed on a freeway off-ramp in Lancaster. In connection with his death, two individuals have been arrested.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the 14 Freeway off-ramp to Avenue L in Lancaster around 2:57 p.m. on Tuesday, following reports of a traffic collision involving a downed motorcycle rider. On arrival, they discovered that Gonzalez had suffered gunshot wounds.

Further investigations led to the identification and arrest of two suspects, Jesse Cupido, 29, and Isabel Cortez, 25. They were taken into custody in Sun Valley on Friday afternoon on charges related to Gonzalez’s murder.
